"Citrus County Home Stay in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, is one of the best places to stay in Punjab, and it is not just because of the location, the property (all of that is also fabulous), but importantly, because of the owner of the place, Harkirat. He takes care of you as his personal guests and ensures that every small and big need is given equal attention. We experienced home stay for the first time and because of our fantastic stay, we have become a huge fan of this concept. Thank you, Kirat, for making our holiday memorable and we did go back as friends! Will connect soon."

"Have lost count on the number of times I have visited this wonderful property. The resort, the food, the accommodation, the service and the wonderful host and hostess have only grown from strength to strength. Though best in winter, a visit this year in June was as delightful. During the day, the air conditioning with 100% power back-up keeps you comfortable, but surprising the moment the sun sets, it is pleasant and comfortable to sit outdoors among-st the very green surroundings. For the more adventurous, there is a small pool filled with chilled tube well water to lounge around in and keep you really cool. All round a great package for 2-3 days, anytime during the year. Cheers to the Citrus County Team!"

"After staying at various hotels during my 3-week vacation in India, I spent 3 nights at Citrus County and was very pleasantly surprised by this unique experience; I had a tent stay. I found it to be a relaxing and peaceful rural experience with exceptional hospitality and personal attention. Harkirat and his family and staff went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, safe and healthy during my stay. I truly appreciated the wonderful meals and service and would gladly come back again to stay, enjoy the surrounding property and visit with my friends at the Citrus County."

"This is a place where the family warmth compliments your stay, where the flavors of home cooked meals compliment your taste buds, where the citrus trees compliment the surrounding freshness and greenery, where you come to know about true Indian hospitality. By staying in their home, you feel like a family member."

"Such a glamorous and fun holiday! As part of a tour group of 22 Australians, we arrived by bus near midnight from Amritsar after visiting the Golden Temple. Very, very cold night but we were welcomed by toasty warm glamorous tents (each with a 4-star en-suite), and a warm meal around the fire pit. Over the next 3 days we were given a tour of the local village and the citrus groves, with a picnic in the groves with lots of fresh orange juice. We were also treated to some excellent shopping brought right to the door (wholesalers brought their produce on bikes to sell at discounted prices, including a range of the most amazing local shawls and scarves). The host family are incredibly generous with their time, great cooking, tours and knowledge of the local area. While there a group of South Africans also moved into the accommodation and even joined in our Wedding - getting married in a Hindu wedding with all the trimmings with all the Australia guests dressed to the nines. Great fun! Could not recommend this accommodation more highly - a truly unique experience - and first class facilities. Slept like a log in the cozy bed with big warm covers!"

"The place is actually fixed tents in a citrus farm next to the house of owners. The best part is that the owners themselves play host and keep you as their personal guests than a visitor or client. The host, Mr. Ahluwalia has a great passion for bikes, drives, meeting new people and makes sure you get the best experience staying with them."

"I stayed at Citrus County for a week in April. It was a fantastic experience. Harkirat and Jasveen make you feel like part of the family and their staff is always very helpful. The hotel is actually a farmhouse full of history with wonderful rooms that have everything you may need including internet and cable television. The highlight of the day was always the candlelight dinner in the beautiful garden, delicious food and company. Everything was just perfect! Thank you so much for everything, Harkirat and Jasveen!"
