"We really enjoyed our Inspector Montalbano tour in 2015 so we asked Francesca if she could arrange something similar in Tuscany in 2016. Of course she replied! Francesca and her driver Georgio flew up to Pisa Airport to meet us then took us on a weeks tour visiting amongst others San Gimignano, Sienna, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano and then into Umbria to Gubbio, Perugia, Deruta and Assisi before back to Volterra and finally the airport. Charming hotels, good meals and we were lucky to coincide with the annual vintage motor rally in Tuscany and a ceremonial race of three Saints in Gubbio. Another excellent and well organised holiday. "This was a 4-night stay at a charming hotel in Modica including transfers from/to Catania Airport. Francesca, Georgio, and local guide, Nuncia, escorted us each day. Visits were made to the main Montalbano locations in Ragusa Ibla, Donnafugata, Punta Secca, Donnalucata, Scicli, and Sampieri. There was also time to visit Noto, as well as lunch and wine tasting at a Planeta vineyard, cooking lesson and lunch in a farmhouse, plus visits to caves, watermill and a nature reserve. Superb tailormade holiday with attentive and knowlegdeable guides!"

"The weather was fantastic, the sun and the day light was surprisingly bright. The food was fresh, colorful, and very tasty. We visited Modica, the churches, and the history of the place send us back into a once upon a time era... I love taking photos of the old streets, the characters of the houses, and love to discover the places where gorgeous inspector Montalvan has film his series."

"Chic and Unique Tours recently organized and managed the wedding of a great friend of mine in Italy. Every detail was arranged impeccably to an absolute fine art. Francesca Sanniti was always at hand to ensure that not only the bride and groom were content but also each and every guest. A fantastically well-organized wedding; therefore, I would have no problem in recommending Chic and Unique Tours."

  • Review by Judy Frigo from Indiana, USA

"This is a superior tour company. My husband and I have never had a personalized tour before, and Francesca and Giorgio anticipated our every need. The individual licensed guides for the UNESCO sites were very knowledgeable, but Francesca and Giorgio were flexible enough to add local nature preserves when they saw our interest. When they heard my uncle landed in Sicily in 1943, with American forces, they showed me where. We originally booked to see Montalbano sites, but our time in Sicily was so much more, from wine tastings to a cooking class, and shared meal with a local family. Giorgio's driving skills and Francesca's translation were invaluable; plus, they were both a lot of fun to be with. I would use them for any tour in Italy of any size. We were just a couple, but they could do tours for groups of friends or family reunions. I also feel we got not only great service, but value with our meals and a wonderful bed and breakfast. A truly wonderful trip thanks to them."

"I spontaneously signed up for a relaxing holiday as I needed a vacation in between jobs. It was the perfect choice! Delicious food and wine, fantastic yoga, and great company in beautiful surroundings. Every day started and ended with yoga lessons, and every other day we had fun activities like kayaking, wine tasting, hiking to the top of the volcano, and every other day we could relax at the pool or do excursions on our own. A big thanks to Francesca, Ameriga and my co-guests for an amazing holiday"
