We went to this wonderful spa and hotel on a Viking cruise and was only able to stay for lunch. The food was amazing, the wines plentiful, and the scenery breathtaking. We will most assuredly plan our next holiday coming back to this country and this hotel to explore some more. The service and amenities are spot on!
Quaint location. Great for relaxing. In the middle of literally "nowhere" you will be surprised to find a historic village that has been mostly converted into a charming place to stay with a fantastic spa and lovely food. This is a great place for a weekend getaway and if you're looking for peace and quite.

Loft bedroom with spa jetted bath tub with skylights was very spacious. Room had a sitting area to relax and watch TV. Unique hotel where it was comprised of many small villas with own private common meeting rooms.

This boutique hotel is in the heart of the Douro Valley, hidden away in a picturesque village. The staff were lovely, the pool and spa were thoroughly enjoyable, and the dinners in the unusually furnished retro dining room were very good.
