Nisha Tarun

Nisha and her husband, Tarun, and their ten year old son moved to Goa in May 2015. They run a cozy homestay, with four rooms in the garden of their Portuguese Villa that was built in 1452. They enjoy all kinds of cuisine and discovering new places to eat. Nisha is a home cook and enjoys cooking for her family and friends. Her idea of a good meal is to keep the food as fresh as possible, wholesome, and balanced. She loves that the produce in Goa is so fresh compared to what you get in the city.

Beautiful house with separate rooms out back. My friend and I found ourselves here whilst recovering from food poisoning. The family were amazing, taking us in and looking after us. There's always someone interesting to talk too and the food is fantastic (mix of traditional Indian, proper continental and meat). Also has the best coffee we had during our 2-month stay. Can't recommend highly enough.

A wonderful place to stay, on beautiful property, with great people always around, cozy sizable bedrooms to sleep peacefully in. Nisha and Tarun are excellent hosts. I felt like family here; always painting, eating, playing music, sharing great times with friends. An easy bike ride away from everything you could want or need. Look forward to returning!
