Your home during this retreat will be a deluxe accommodations at the Pom Marine Hotel in Saint Michael, Barbados. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Mullins area with local beaches.

Day 1: Arrival

  • Arrival and welcome.
  • Afternoon check-in at the hotel.
  • Tour briefing followed tropical cocktails and dinner.

Day 2: Excursion, cooking class

  • Breakfast.
  • Guided tour of the local fish market at Oistins.
  • Lunch and shopping on your own or return to the hotel for a light lunch.
  • Afternoon cooking lesson.
  • Relaxation and pool side cocktails.
  • Oistins Friday night Fish Fry dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Optional tour: You will spend the day snorkeling and diving along the coast. All it takes are mask, fins, snorkel, and an unlimited capacity for awe. And you will witness the Barbados reefs at its best.
  • Lunch at a local beach side restaurant.
  • Dinner on your own or back at the villa.

Day 3: Market visit, rum distillery visit, cooking class

  • After breakfast, you will visit and tour the local farmers market and local Barbados rum distillery.
  • Then, you will shop for local arts and craft and savvy shopping in Bridgetown tax free shops. You would find trendy boutiques offering world renowned designer labels here.
  • Return to the hotel for lunch and afternoon cooking lesson hosted by a local island chef, using the ingredients you purchased at the farmers market and rum distillery.
  • For dinner, you will head to The Crane Restaurant Barbados, number 1 for food Zagat 2009 .

Day 4: Horseback riding, picnic

  • Breakfast.
  • Today, you will enjoy horseback riding along the beach. This is a time to let go and be free as you allow these majestic animals to walk you through the shores of the island beach.
  • You will also have time to relax and unwind after your ride with a light picnic lunch.
  • Optional tour: you can stop later for a relaxing swim and light dinner at one of the local restaurant stops.
  • Dinner on your own or return to the villa for snack buffet dinner.

Day 5: Museum tour, island hopping, cooking class

  • After breakfast, its time to tour the Barbados Museum where the history of Barbados comes to life. The museum is set in a beautiful nineteenth century buildings where the island rich heritage and culture are depicted through exhibitions of natural history.
  • In the afternoon, you will head out on your island safari and beach hopping tour. Your guide will take you off the beaten tracks to some of the most spectacular local sites and beaches on the island.
  • Then, you will stop for a light lunch.
  • Dinner cooking class hosted by tour host chef, Freda.
  • Optional tour: After breakfast, you will tour the local botanical gardens where you will get to see and learn about the local island fauna. You will enjoy lunch at a local Brown Sugar restaurant famous for its local island lunch buffet. Dinner back at the villa or on your own.

Day 6: Luxury cruise, snorkeling, spa treatments

  • After breakfast, you will enjoy a luxury Catamaran boat cruise, enjoy the view of the Caribbean marine life through this wonderful cruise.
  • Lunch, drinks, and snorkeling equipment will be provided on this cruise.
  • Afternoon spa treatments at Chakra Spa, enjoy a time of relaxation and rewinding.
  • Dinner will be hosted by the Sandpiper Restaurant in St. James featuring fresh eclectic cuisine with a Caribbean twist.

Day 7: Departure

  • Farewell breakfast.
  • Afterwards, a bus will take you back to the airport or, depending on your flight schedule, go shopping on your own or take some last minute beach time.
