While in Dominica, you will stay at the Jungle Bay Resort, boasting eco accommodation. Its 35 cottages feel like private tree houses, completed with open-air showers. Award-winning Jungle Bay was built and is operated in alignment with international Geotourism and Ecotourism guidelines. As an alternative to traditional Caribbean tourism, the focus is on enjoyable nature-based activities and wellness of guests with quality service, guided by the principles as set by both National Geographic's Center for Sustainable Destinations and The International Ecotourism Society (TIES).

The mission of Jungle Bay Resort is to enhance the natural environment and improve the livelihood of surrounding communities so that the region is improved in a sustainable way, while providing quality, comfortable nature-based experiences for their guests. Jungle Bay features thirty-five tastefully furnished tropical hardwood cottages elevated on wooden posts, nestled beneath the undisturbed jungle of Dominica and in harmony with nature. Cottages are spacious and feature wood furnishings all designed and hand crafted at the resort.

Cottages are perched amongst Cedar, Gomier, and Galba trees and spring fed stream cascades along the valley below. Great care was taken to preserve the forest in its original form. Access to each unit is through a series of footpaths and stone staircases allowing you to explore the tropical plant life along the way.
