Cooking Holidays in Havana, Cuba

Come to Cuba and explore Havana's history and cuisine! You will spend four days in this amazing city, where you will have the chance to dine in local restaurants and prepare local dishes with a local chef. This beautiful Caribbean country will delight you with its famous white-sand beaches, cigars, and rum. You will be welcomed with a dinner and accompanied by an English speaking guide throughout your holiday. Forget about your daily routine and start your Cuban adventure!

You will spend three nights in a casa particular (private house) accommodation.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive to Havana and transfer to your accommodation. After your group has settled in and made themselves familiar with the area, get ready for a welcome dinner at one of Havana’s popular private paladars.

Meal plan: dinner.

Day 2: Havana city tour

After breakfast, you will visit to the Colonial part of Havana City, declared a world heritage by UNESCO. Take a walking tour in the historic center including main squares, fortresses, and buildings built by the Spaniards during the 16th and 19th centuries. Next, visit La Bodeguita del Medio and the main streets and avenues in Old Havana. Stop at El Capitolio and have lunch at a local restaurant including one drink. Your tour continues with a panoramic view of Havana’s University and a visit to the Revolution Square, where you will have time for pictures. You will enjoy dinner at one of Havana’s many amazing restaurants with an amazing view of the city.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3: Cooking class

After breakfast, you will visit a local urban organic garden and market to see where much of Havana’s restaurants and chefs find their produce. Afterwards, enjoy a private cooking class with a local chef in which, together, you will prepare local Cuban dishes for lunch. Later on, at your accommodation, enjoy a spectacular dinner prepared by a private chef.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.

Explore the culinary mysteries of the Caribbean islands or taste fried flying fish at the Ostin’s fish market in Barbados. Budding Barefoot Contessas will learn the art of cooking authentic Caribbean dishes the way the Caribbean people cook. Caribbean Culinary Tours is in the business of providing you with a fun, safe, and exciting vacation.

You will enjoy great food while learning the art of the island cooking, you will meet friendly people with the largest grins! On the third day, enjoy the Tropicana show offer for 110 USD per adult. Enjoy the world famous Tropicana show with preferred seating, welcome cocktail, and a 250 milliliter bottle of Havana Club Rum accompanied by snacks. Transportation to and from the show are not included, a voucher will be provided locally.

Arrival by airplane

The nearest airport to the location is José Martí International Airport (HAV). Caribbean Culinary Tours will pick you up from the airport. The pick-up is included in the price.
