Cape Lodge is a boutique country house hotel and restaurant on its own vineyard in the heart of Margaret River wine country. Minutes away from pristine beaches, magnificent coastline and the great wineries of Vasse Felix, Cullen and Moss Wood. The garden view rooms overlook all have tranquil garden views. Four rooms have courtyards with outdoor settings and one room is located within the main lodge and features a wheelchair access bathroom. All rooms feature king-size or twin beds, flat-screen TV and DVD player with en-suite and walk in shower. All garden view rooms are non-smoking.

The Executive Chef Michael Elfwing has worked in some of the Worlds best kitchens including Heston Blummenthals Fat Duck and Mathias Dahlgren Stockholms Grand Hotel. Michaels culinary training is French and enjoys modern regional cuisine creating a calendar of cooking classes where you will learn how to present a superb three course menu which can easily recreated at home.
Working with seasonal local produce, discover some of Michaels kitchen tips, recipes and to choose the best ingredients before sitting down to a superb three-course long table lunch served in the Cape Lodge Restaurant. The class commences at 11:00 and lunch is served from 13:00 to 14:30.
The Margaret River Region in the southwest corner of Western Australia is one of the most picturesque regions of the state, with a ruggedly beautiful coastline, majestic native forests, and boutique wineries. Cape Lodge is located on Caves Road, only three kilometers from the Indian Ocean, surrounded by the great wineries of Margaret River. Cape Lodge is just a three-hour drive or a forty-five minute flight from Perth and is centrally located to the town sites of Margaret River, Dunsborough and Yallingup. To get to Cape Lodge you can drive from Perth to Bunbury, Busselton and Dunsborough. The trip will take approximately three hours at a leisurely pace.
