Day 1

Meet your guide and fellow travelers for a stroll through town with your guide and get a feel for this wonderful town of the Bay of Biscay. Take in the panoramic views from Mount Igueldo and marvel at the architecture in the old town. Tonight, enjoy a wine tasting and welcome dinner at Rekondo.

Day 2

Visit Getaria, a quaint fishing village where you will visit an artisan factory that produces the finest of the famed salted anchovies. After, enjoy a tour and tasting at the D.O.C (Denominazione di origine controllata) Getariako Txakolina, the oldest winery in the region. Lunch will be on a lovely terrace at a portside restaurant.

Day 3

Visit a local organic farm where they are preserving heirloom varieties in a unique social service environment. After you will head to a cider house where you will enjoy a typical lunch, tour the cider house, learn about the process of cider-making and even bottle cider using an antique bottling machine. Tonight embark on a pintxo's tour of San Sebastian!

Day 4

Visit the 500-year-old Ordizia Market and explore the local varieties of cheese. Enjoy traditional mountain cuisine in a local village restaurant. Afterwards, head further inland to meet with an award-winning cheesemaker and participate in a cheese making session. Walk off all the delicious food in Urbasa before heading back to San Sebastian for dinner.

Day 5

Visit the coast between France and Spain where you will enjoy a family-owned Michelin starred restaurant lunch in the village of Hondarribia. After lunch, participate in a hands-on cooking workshop in a txoko where you will get behind-the-scenes glimpse into the heart of Basque culture.

Day 6

Today you will assist in arranging transfers to the San Sebastian airport (EAS) or train station for onward travel.
