A visit to Starosel. It was a great experience to discover the methods of wine making from its infancy to the present methods. Tasting 5 different kinds of wine was great.

What an utterly memorable and magnificent wine tour at Starosel winery. Vasil, our tour guide, was warm, enthusiastic and hugely knowledgeable, which made the day even better. The tour itself was exceptionally organised and the wine was excellent!
Zina and Vasil have created a wonderful tour experience, one that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Plovdiv.
We had such a fantastic day, one that we will always remember.

I would not have thought that a wine tour could be so pleasurable! I went as part of a group of friends for a 5-day tour with an extension visit to the Black Sea. Every moment was perfect, owing to the incredible care and organisation shown by our host Vasil. I can't recommend this company enough!
We spent a marvelous day visiting three vineyards south of Plovdiv. The three were all different from each other, but in each we toured the facility and tasted the wines the vineyard produced. Vasil was an excellent guide and was able to arrange a wide variety of tours in the region. In each case, he added something of interest: he took us to the Red Church, an exquisite ruin of a church well off the main road. We never would have found it on our own.
