During this tour, Bonito Norte Viajes have selected a well-situated three-star Rías Bajas Hotel in Pontevedra for your first three nights and another hotel in Parada de Sil for your next two nights. You will end this journey by staying overnight at a unique countryside hotel in Santiago de Compostela for the rest of your stay.

Settle in, enjoy Pontevedra with Bonito Norte Viajes' recommended routes on your own. At night, you will meet up with the guide and the group, and the welcome dinner consists of the delicacies of the sea with Galician wines.
Enjoy breakfast, followed by a boat trip to La Costa Atlántica’s beautiful island world and an insight into the mystery of the mussel and other seafood delicacies cultivation in Rías Baixas.
There are optional hikes / walks (five to eight kilometers) and your chance for a swim in the cold Atlantic. Enjoy your lunch and then back in the harbor. On the way back, you will visit the O Grove peninsula with its beautiful scenery and architecture, as well as a small family-run winery by the sea in D.O. Rias Baixas. Explore the white wine district with the special tied Albariño grapes in the so-called Parrales. For dinner, enjoy a more modern dining experience in Pontevedra.
After breakfast, take an easy morning walk followed by bus ride towards the inland D.O. Ribeiro where the wineries have returned to the Treixadura grape after ripping up the Palomino vines that devalued the Ribeiro.
Go on an exciting visit and genuine lunch at local “furanxo” (simple traditional bodega / taverna) in the neighborhood. You will continue to Ribera Sacra to check in in Parada del Sil. Take an evening stroll for two to four kilometers to one of the amazing views of the river Sil. Dinner with the regional food and wine from D.O. Ribera Sacra.
Enjoy breakfast, followed by an eight-kilometers hiking along the beautiful river Sil with amazing views where you get to experience its “Heroic viticulture” with the Mencia vines in terraced slopes! Immerse in the beautiful scenery, Romanesque architecture, and bird life. Winery visit to D.O. Ribera Sacra in the subdistrict Amandi (heart of Ribera Sacra) and enjoy a rural lunch. Night trip with catamaran and dinner.
Breakfast and on to Santiago de Compostela, the pilgrims’ goal! You will stop at the mythical Monte de Gozo (the mountain of joy where you get a first view of cathedral tower), lunch in town, and check in. In the afternoon, you will follow a guided walk for about three kilometers with an authorized city guide. Dinner on your own or optional cooking class with dinner.
Take your breakfast, followed by a day trip to the beautiful Finisterre with a nice walk for about three kilometers to the lighthouse. Enjoy lunch on your own along the nice beach or at the harbor. Back in Santiago with time on your own before you join for farewell dinner.

You will enjoy your walks that always are optional on this Galicia wine and walking tour. If you a have a sore knee, you will be picked up to meet the group at the next scheduled point. As the written detailed itineraries and maps will be prepared for you already, you will be able to complete each route at your own pace. And if you still need an extra challenge, some alternative extra kilometers can be provided for you to complete the physical activity of each day.
