During this holiday, you will be staying in a beautiful condo. You can share the condo with one other person or chose to stay by yourself.
Arrive Monday afternoon in Cartagena and take a taxi to the condo, where you will meet your fellow travelers, unpack, and relax. You will share a welcome dinner and have a meet and greet.
You will start the retreat with a breakfast cooking class. Here, you will learn healthy options that go beyond the usual oatmeal! You will have some time to relax by the pool and then you will have lunch. After lunch, you will have the afternoon to explore on your own. Meet back at the condo for an afternoon fitness class. Then, dinner will be served.
You will wake to a morning yoga class to get the day started. After a delicious breakfast, you will have the rest of the day to relax and explore. Go on a free walking tour, head to the beach, or just walk around. Have lunch in the city before you meet back up at the condo for an evening cooking class and dinner.
Today, you will either go on your guided city tour or a snorkeling trip to the surrounding islands. Each excursion will last about six-hours. After breakfast, they will pick you up and whisk you away for a morning of fun! In the evening, you can relax with a wholesome dinner. If you are feeling up for it, you will have yoga or fitness class.
You will start the morning with a high intensity fitness class. Then, you will enjoy a nourishing breakfast and some time to relax before a lunchtime cooking class. You class will show you quick and easy recipes you can take for lunch and how to utilize leftovers to create brand new meals. You will have the rest of the afternoon to do as you please. In the evening, you will have a yoga session and enjoy alight dinner.
After a delicious vegan breakfast, you can choose what you want to do today. It has been a busy week, so the schedule is open. The city of Cartagena is located on the northern coast of Colombia, in the Caribbean Coast Region, and it is the capital of the Bolívar Department. It is the fifth largest city in Colombia and the second largest in the region, and is known for its colorful, colonial architecture, beautiful, warm weather year round, access to crystal waters and beautiful islands, and unique cultural experiences. It is certainly a feast for the eyes and the belly!
This program is designed to help you get off addictive foods that are not serving your greater health. The diet will consist of gourmet plant-based meals, with recipes you can prepare at home. You will be cleansing and may experience a detox depending on your current diet but there is no deprivation on this retreat. During your retreat, you will get to eat plenty of delicious foods while learning the tools needed for continued success.
During the free time you will get, you can explore the surroundings and see everything Colombia has to offer.
