Service was first rate and personable, and the accommodations were stellar. Our hosts and staff were helpful, attentive, and friendly from the minute we walked in the door until the moment we departed. The main house is very spacious and has a nice covered front porch for sitting. And I almost forgot; the homemade pies available 24/7 in the pantry were very yummy. Can't wait to return!

My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary with a short trip to the Rockland-Camden, Maine area. We chose to stay at the Berry Manor Inn in Rockland for two nights. This was an excellent choice. Innkeepers, Cheryl Michaelson and Mike LaPosta have a beautiful historic inn, appropriately updated, and very comfortable. Our room (#1) was very spacious, with king-sized bed, and a nice gas fireplace. Breakfast, on both days, was wonderful. A special added treat was having fresh pie available anytime (blueberry, of course, raspberry, and cherry). Mike has a humorous side to him, so be prepared for a little entertainment at no extra charge.
This is an excellent inn in all respects, close to town center, and we highly recommend it.
My wife and I stayed at Berry Manor Inn for 2 nights. The carriage house was cozy and peaceful. We got the romance package that included a 75 USD voucher towards local restaurants and a little treat on the second night, consisting of chocolate-covered strawberries and wine. Breakfast, which is served each morning, was amazing! The folks at the inn were more than willing to help us with reservations or planning our day. We appreciated the hospitality and kindness. Someday, we'll be back! Oh, and I can't forget to mention a fireplace, jacuzzi, Wi-Fi, and homemade pies! Blueberry, raspberry, and cherry pies are available at all times!
My boyfriend and I traveled to Maine and stayed at the Berry Manor Inn this past February. It was our first B&B but surely won't be our last. The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Never having been to a B&B, we were not sure what to expect and were a bit apprehensive, however, we had nothing to be concerned about. Despite being winter, with the staff's help, we found plenty of things to do. We highly recommend the Berry Manor Inn.
I stayed here on the way back from dropping some paleontologists off at a field site in Canada, a few years ago. My friend and I decided to split the cost to stay in a nice B&B instead of our normal hotel, and chose this one after I found descriptions of Berry Manor on a website about staying in Maine. I am very glad we did! The rooms were extremely comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff was absolutely helpful, attentive and accommodating. I've brought friends back here to stay at different times of the year since, and we always enjoy ourselves.
I have a food allergy that can make traveling difficult, but the folks at Berry Manor are always one step ahead of me in finding nice local places that serve excellent dishes I can eat safely. They also make special meals for me in the morning and even try to make me the equivalent of what everyone else is having, even if that means making complex dishes that have to be prepared separately. (If you have ever had to travel with a special diet then you know how emotional these thoughtful additions can be.)
You will not find a nicer and more professional B&B. For me, no trip to Maine is complete without stopping in Rockland to stay at the Berry Manor Inn.
The Berry Manor Inn has officially become "our happy place" for my husband and I. We visited for the second time over Valentine's weekend, and it was everything we remembered and more. The staff is super friendly and always very helpful, but give you your privacy if that's what you desire. The rooms are amazing! We stayed in Room 11, which had a fireplace, a multiple jet shower, and the most wonderful tub. My husband is 6'4 and I am 5'7, and that tub fit both of us with room to spare! The breakfast that is included is unsurpassed. How is it that a place that offers such spectacular rooms can also cook such an amazing breakfast day in and day out?! And when you need an afternoon or late night snack, the provided pies are delicious, which is a great achievement, considering that I don't even like pie. My one complaint about Berry Manor Inn is that I can't stay there forever. We will continue to come back as often as we can, as we've never been happier than after a weekend away at Berry Manor Inn.

We took room 12 with its hand-crafted custom bed. Saying it was comfortable would be an understatement. The shower was incredible, while the food and hospitality was top notch. We did not expect to be catered to as much as we were. We took the dine around option which provided heavy appetizers and/or dessert in three different local and privately owned restaurants. Every dish was eye and pallet pleasing. We met amazing people at each restaurant which added to the pleasure. Waiting on our bed when we returned was champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries and rose petals scattered all across the bed. My husband and I forgot the world existed for one evening. Cheryl and Mike, the owners, are the best! I cannot say enough about this amazing place.
