Can't think of any negatives.

I loved the food! The meals were so tasty. Breakfast and lunch were a bit skimpy but delicious. The cooking class was a great addition! I learned a lot and I really loved the aesthetic. It felt like an old country cabin and was really rustic/peaceful. The staff was AMAZING! Everyone from the driver to the cooks were fantastic!
They made you feel at home and were so extremely sweet/considerate. Anything you asked for, they were willing to help with. Towels and soap were provided, as well as daily cleaning of your bed.
Honestly, the pictures were much better than the real interior. It looked more spacious and pristine in the photos. The cubby holes for sleeping were really tiny and dark. Everyone was sharing the same room with a different hole (5 different holes) so it could be a little noisy at times. The showers weren't up to par which was disappointing. They had wifi but it was extremely weak in the room/cubby hole. I wish they had more than one single room to offer, as someone was occupying it. I hated the Yoga experience and the inexperienced masseuse the most.
I have stayed at Balibee house for about 8 days I highly recommended for those who's looking for a place far from the crowd and for those who's doing solo traveler their dormitory rooms interior are unique like u never seen before the house interior furniture are authentic style and it's so cool the breakfast incredible the place always clean the staff super friendly and helpful you will feel just like your own house location are great to anywhere beach club, surf spot, fitness ,yoga , boxing just 5/10 mins away , I will always feel this is my second home thank you for everything!
“Amazing! Just perfect!”
The Bee House it's simply amazing! The concept is not only awesome but just everything about it: Erick (the owner), Fousi, Agnon, the yoga teacher, next door neighbor, the driver, everyone is just great. It's clean, it's in between Canggu and Seminyak (so it's not that's crazy). You get to meet great people at the Hostel, it's very cozy, laid back. Room and dorm are great. it could be a great main location and from there you can travel around Bali. I recommend it!

I booked Bali Bee House as it was $300 for the week for accommodation, Yoga x 3, cooking class and bike or hike ride.
First off accommodation is amazing and the owner is great, and speaks great English. Then staff get by on very little English making it confusing.
The house is presented well and the beds are comfortable and breakfast is fab. The servants sleep on the living room couch so are always there for when you wake up. Unfortunately loud music on until midnight by them does not give you a good nights sleep. The showers are cold, I never once felt hot water during my 6 days, no clean towels and no clean sheets. I led with a total of 73 mosquito bites on my legs as they do not treat the property for them.
My yoga classes were not yoga and more meditation, well more about listening to stories while the yogi laughed. I really don't know what else to say apart from it was a total waste of money and I could pay $100 for a week in a 3 star hotel and attend local yoga classes.
I never got my bike ride or trek either!
This should not be promoted as a yoga retreat.
“home from home”
From the moment I arrived I felt so welcome, the staff at Bali bee house could not have been more helpful. They are always ready to answer any questions, arrange transport, it was like having a personal tour advisor.
I opted for the yoga, which I would highly recommend, the location of the practice is in the middle of the rice fields, bliss. The teacher is a very special guy. I also had a fabulous cookery class where we made, and dined on, some great local dishes. I have to say that overall I had a most wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here and I can't wait to return :)
“Nice, friendly and cozy”
I can really recommend this place. It was a pleasure to stay there and feel at home. It has a lovely café and a really nice interior design. All stuff members are most friendly and helpful. Join the yoga or cooking class!
“Perfect place !”
Bali Bee is a very good place to stay.
The décoration is cosy and we can use the good wifi.
Near of the beach and great proximity to do things around.
The food is so delicious, we like a lot !
People of Bali Bee are kind, smiling and helpful.. Thanks to them.
The room are great to sleep and clean.
We recommend Bali Bee
My fiancé and I stayed here four nights in a common bedroom. We were so lucky that we didn’t share it with anyone. Bed was comfortable, clean and the staff super nice and very helpful. Made and Alit were very attentive and made us feel like home. The negative part is that is kind of far from everything so you need to rent a motorbike but it’s cheap, 70k a day. Would recommend.
Cozy place and friendly staff! Superclean and fresh, they cleaned the rooms everyday. The food offered was so tasty but the portions were small. Music and neighbouring dogs made it quite noisy at night but other than that everything was great!
The place had a very cool vibe and beautiful decor. The staff was also very kind and helpful! When I had some troubles with losing my wallet, they were so understanding and helped me manage everything
This was my first time in Bali as solo traveler. My stay at the Bali Bee House was amazing!! It was exactly what I expected and more.. I arrived at 12pm at night at the hotel. After a long flight I was so tired and just wanted to get to my room. I was greeted by one of the hotel staff with a nice welcome lemonade that was delicious and taken to my room right away. The dorms were so nice and clean and the bed was super comfy. Every morning I had an amazing breakfast cooked by one of the staff members which is also included in the stay. It's not a fancy hotel , but very unique in its own way . I felt like home! Especially that the staff make you feel at home and are very humble and friendly people. I enjoyed talking With then all especially Abi and Ayu as well. They were very attentive to anything I needed and made sure I had a comfortable stay. I did have a small issue with some staff that weren't part of the hotel coming into the girls dorm without knocking, but Abi made sure that didn't happen again. I can't thank them enough for making me feel so good. Everything is nearby and he hotel is about 10min away from Seminyack and Kuta is about 20mins away. I fell in love with Bali, but most of all I feel in love with this hotel and the people that I had tears on my last day there. I can't wait to go back and I surely will be going back to The Bali Bee House hotel and possibly book a private room this time only to try something different. I loved this place! Thanks again!!
I really enjoyed my time at Bali Bee! The staff were so attentive and the food was FANTASTIC! I loved the honeycomb dorm beds! Unfortunately there was construction going on next door which was pretty noisy (they are building an extension to the Bali Bee house) and there is a lot of noise during the night and early morning from barking dogs. I am a very light sleeper so this woke me up often. Overall, I loved my stay. It was great to just relax and read or journal.

Wonderful hospitality and beautiful interior design. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much! Thank you to the great staff. They have a full menu and chefs cooking up delicious meals from breakfast through to dinner. We all particularly loved the beehive inspired beds that allowed us all privacy in a dorm room.
I stayed in the girls dorm. The interior is extraordinary and the beds are very comfortable. Everything you need is there, the stuff is super kindly and helpful. You have a big choice for breakfast in the morning which is included. And there is also a big offer for other food. I used the transport from the airport to the hostel. It worked very well and the driver was so friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay. Only one disadvantage, you need a car or scooter to go around or to the beach.
It was a great stay. Lovely food and lovely people. It will be great if you have female staff. It will become more comfortable for solo women travellers. The stay was amazing anyways.. Very clean. Very affordable too.
Our stay at the Bali Bee House was really lovely! The staff are so friendly and cater to your every need (and answer your every question!). They go the extra mile to make your stay really special. The pods you sleep in are really cool - it's a shared dorm room (they also do private rooms), but we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves. The beds are super comfy, and have cosy blankets to sleep under. They each have a drop-down blind so you have privacy. There are two clean showers, two sinks, big lockers, and enough space for getting ready. The decor of the guest house itself is lovely - mismatched, colourful and cute. The breakfast (which is included) is incredible. You choose from a menu, and they seem to put their heart and soul into making it - when it arrives, not only does it taste amazing, but it looks amazing. I'd recommend the banana pancakes! They also organise yoga classes - we did one out under a bamboo canopy in the middle of green fields with a friendly local guy. The staff took us to the venue (near the hotel) on the back of their scooters. The family who live opposite the guest house are incredible too - so friendly, and have the cutest puppies! They let us use sunscreen (when we asked if we could buy it from their small shop) for free. You will definitely be woken by roosters and dogs making lots of noise, but it feels exciting to be somewhere totally different, where rural life was the dominant one. The hotel location is great, too, close enough to get to most of the places you want to go by push bike (except Ubud, where we used one of the staff's drivers - who was very friendly and knowledgable). We avoided scooters (for danger reasons!) and borrowed the guest house's pushbikes (for free!) every day instead. Had a really lovely time here, it was so warm and welcoming, and they truly care about their guests (they emailed us one day because they were worried about the time/where we were!).
I stayed here 6 nights for a yoga and surf retreat. Got given a very tasty lime and lemongrass welcome drink the was very refreshing. The place is a very lovely and cosy place to stay, beds in the pods were comfy, sheets were clean and they had individual night lights. I slept well minus the occasional barking of dogs & roosters calling as the place is on a quiet area. The staff were wonderful Uci and Putu were very helpful, there was staff on the premises 24hours and cooked amazing breakfasts. The boss Erik is simply brilliant in communication on Whatsapp and they are all there to help with any questions and queries Putu even conducted a Balinese cooking workshop which was included in the retreat package, that was such a treat to make and taste.
I would recommend the retreat to anyone who wants to get away from the hawkers and stay somewhere a little more quiet and homely than a hostel. Falzy, Anger and Puta were so welcoming and treated me like family whilst I stayed here. I really enjoyed all the activities, especially the surfing with Rich and the interior design of the home is incredible. This was so much more than I was expecting, I leave with so many good memories of this place and I am going to cook my family a Balinese meal when I get back. I would recommend the retreat and also recommend you rent a scoopy scooter to go into canggu for the day. It's a chilled place that's not too far from Kerobokan (20 - 25 mins).

Really cute place to stay. Awesome decoration and great little chill out areas. Tucked away from all the tourist areas so like living in a local area with small warungs and fresh coconuts down the road.
I had the private room which was very comfortable. Only complaint is can hear dogs from on the street at night.
I loved the food. Very tasty with beautiful presentation.
Staff are amazing. Got the Wi-Fi going for me and movie channels on the TV in private room.
I stayed there and had most meals there as it such a charming wee place.

The Bali Bee House was a unique experience for me. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. Everything was very clean and in a very good standard. I really liked to sleep in one of those bee bunk beds. The food was delicious
I love the rustic style of this place, it's very cozy to be there, also their traditional Balinese kitchen is the best-looking kitchen I've seen so far! The staff is very hospitable and attentive, I loved that they gave me welcome gelato instead of welcome drink. I also loved cappuccino, waffles, and sandwiches. The location is great too, close to green belt of rice fields and also close enough to Seminyak if you rent a motorbike.
I will never regret the decision I made to stay at the Bali Bee. The staff was friendly, great food, clean and artsy designed rooms and plenty of activities offered. I really love Ayam Taliwang served here, so tender and tasty. I will definitely come back to stay there again.
So humbled to stay at the Bali bee house! The staff has been amazingly so accommodating! If you're looking for culture in Bali this is a very good place to start, the owner has lots of information and how to see it all! I've gotten to know the neighbors and they include me in traditional meals, ceremony and are very beautiful! Feels like home.
