Edge of Seattle is a unique full-service inn in the Woodinville wine country. It is secluded and located away from city life and yet it has luxury accommodations. It is a French country inn, modeled after the auberge country inns of France. This inn is recognized as a culinary destination, as they have a French specialty school on the property. Edge of Seattle is located on five secluded acres, surrounded by an evergreen forest. This culinary inn is renowned for its excellent cuisine, being well off the beaten path and for promoting an opportunity for you to connect with your loved ones in the Woodinville wine country.
The building is well insulated and cool. This auberge estate invites the world to a setting reminiscent of the private auberge of Europe. As in those quiet and secluded auberge of Europe, Edge of Seattle is also well off the beaten path, covering five acres in the forest of evergreens, especially enticing for lovers who seek a romantic setting away from prying eyes for the day, week or longer. Lovers can roam the grounds, set on the surround veranda, and enjoy homemade tarts, cakes and other eateries upon request.

This suite was newly renovated in 2011. It is furnished with French antiques and family heirlooms.

During this vacation, you will participate in French brunch cooking class. Your cooking class is scheduled on Sunday at 10:00 - 13:00. You will learn the secrets of traditional French cuisine using the best of seasonal fresh ingredients, without preservatives, additives, or chemicals. You won't see anything frozen or canned used at your cooking class. Nor will you find any genetically modified (GMO) products used here like canola oil, corn products, or soy products. During the classes, you will receive a hands-on experience of preparing traditional 3-course French dinner.

Ouefs Brouilles with wild mushrooms and Oeufs brouilles et champignons sauvages and crepes fourrees (sweet filled crepes)
Pain perdu et compote de fruits de saison (French toast brioche with fruit compote) and pot de crme au chocolat with mascarpone cream and tuile (baked chocolate custard in individual little porcelain pots)
Pate feuillete et oeufs brouilles (pastry with scrambled eggs) and ananas a la creole (roasted pineapple flamb with rum)
Shirred eggs and Peches Cardinal (poached peaches or pears with pureed raspberries, whipped cream and toasted almonds)
Swiss cheese souffl with egg surprise and clafoutis aux cerises (cherry butter tart)
