Your accommodations will be at Thienthai hotel or a similar place in Hanoi, Viet Beauty Cruise or similar in Ha Long, and Hmong Sapa Sotel or similar in Sapa.

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi

Asia Queen Travel driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. You will check into the hotel and be greeted with a welcome drink, free and useful Hanoi City map, free Wi-Fi, and free two bottles of water. You will overnight in a hotel in Hanoi. No meals are included on your first day.

Day 2: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

  • 07:45 You will meet your tour guide at a suggested place around Old Quarter before departing to Ha Long Bay.
  • 12:30 Embark at Tuan Chau harbor, Ha Long city, and be transferred by tender to the Viet Beauty Cruise. Upon arrival at Viet Beauty Cruise, you will be greeted by crew members followed by welcome drinks. You will get a cruise briefing and check into your cabin.
  • 13:00 Savor a delicious lunch on board while the cruise heads to the center of Ha Long Bay
  • 15:00 Explore Sung Sot Cave, the biggest cave in Ha Long Bay, which famous for its wonderful stalactites and stalagmites
  • 16:00 Visit Titop Island for swimming or take a short walk to the top for some overview photos of Ha Long Bay
  • 18:00 Enjoy sunset while local wine and fruit is served
  • 18:30 Attend cooking lesson and learn how to make some spring rolls by yourself

Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

  • 06: 30 Start your morning with the Tai Chi class up in the sundeck
  • 07:00 Enjoy a new day with complimentary tea and coffee served for light breakfast on board
  • 08:00 Visit Me Cung Cave (Maze Cave) with layers of fossilized shells which present the historical formation of Ha Long Bay
  • 09:00 Stop by a pearl farm to study the culture pearl making process
  • 09:30 Check out of your cabin and have your brunch while Viet Beauty Cruise heads back to the harbor
  • 12:00 Disembark the harbor and say goodbye to Ha Long Bay and you will head back to Hanoi
  • 17:00 Your tour guide will drop you off at your hotel

Today's meal plan includes breakfast and brunch. You will go to the hotel to take a shower and rest. At 6:30 p.m., the driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Hoan Kiem Lotus Restaurant to eat at the buffet Sen Hanoi, with 150 to 200 typical dishes of North, Central, and South Vietnam. You will sovernight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat Village

  • 06:30 Pick up from your hotel on bus, then depart for Sapa
  • 09:30 Follow the highway with the first comfort break in Phu Tho Province
  • 11:00 Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa
  • 12:30 Arrive in Sapa town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic People
  • 12:45 Welcome drink and itinerary briefing
  • 13:30 Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and then check-in procedures
  • 14:00 Start short trekking to Cat Cat village, home of Black H’Mong People, visit Cat Cat waterfall and the Hydrofoil constructed by the French in 19th Century, visit family of H’Mong People to understand their culture and customs
  • 17:00 Go back to Sapa town for refreshing, then have dinner in peace and enjoy night activities

Day 5: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Hanoi

  • 07:00 Have breakfast at hotel, check out of the room, and prepare light pack for trekking (big luggage kept in hotel store)
  • 08:00 A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. After that, head to Ta Van village, home of Dzay ethnic people. Trekking distance is about nine kilometers and it lasts for three and a half hours.
  • 11:30 Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa
  • 12:30 Have lunch at the hotel
  • 13:30 Relax and leisure on your own (you may shower in the public bathroom)
  • 14:45 Meet all group members at hotel to get ready for Hanoi
  • 16:00 Get on bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks
  • 20:45 Arrive in Hanoi

Day 6: Join in cooking class

The cooking classes are held at a restaurant which is located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. It is just a short stroll (300 meters) from Hoan Kiem Lake and one and a half kilometers from the Dong Xuan market, which is Hanoi’s major fresh food market.

When you participate in the classes, the chef will share with you many of his secrets as he takes you on a culinary journey, teaching you how the subtle blend of spices are the key element to creating the outstanding flavors that are found in some of the favorite dishes of the Hanoian people.

You can chose to attend a morning or afternoon cooking class. There are seven menu options available for the cooking classes. All cooking classes are available to be run either in the morning or afternoon. Morning classes will culminate in lunch whilst afternoon classes culminate in dinner.

The guide will collect you from your hotel by taxi or motorbike to the class, where you will then be taken via the Cyclo trip to the market. Here, you will meet the chef and experience a day in his life as you wander through the fresh food market. You will learn some tips and tricks to ensure that only the finest quality ingredients are selected. You will then select all the ingredients needed for your class.

The chef will then accompany you as you make your way back to the restaurant. You will stop along the way and get to sample a selection of street foods. During the lesson, the chef will teach you the secrets to creating decorations, to enhance the presentation of your dishes, as well as some of the basic skills needed to master the knife skills required to be a chef.

Day 7: Departure

You will have breakfast and free time until your driver comes to pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
