During this cooking course, you will be staying in Ashburn Court in a shared double room. Ashburton Court offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation to Ashburton Cookery School students. There are 14 rooms in the two historic town houses in central Ashburton, just a short walk from all the town's amenities, restaurants, pubs and shops, and of course on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

The house has single, double and twin rooms, as well as apartments. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms, televisions, and free wireless internet access is available throughout. Parking is on street, although at weekends there is an access to a car park where you may leave your car for the weekend. A complimentary minibus will run you the 500 yards to the new cookery school in the morning and back at the end of the day, although on a warm day, most students prefer to walk.

The emphasis, as with all of Ashburton Cookery School’s courses is on using seasonal produce at its very best and creating rich and complex flavors and textures. Ashburton Cookery School works with tried and trusted techniques so that you can develop consistency in your cookery skills which will enable you to use what you have learned to build a great repertoire of your dishes.

At the end of this fast-paced and highly practical course, you will have the experience and skills from which to you can cook and present food to a fine-dining standard. You will receive a Certificate of Completion for all courses you take with us at the Cookery School. The Ashburton Chefs Academy offers accredited qualifications that need to be passed to earn a certificate.

This cooking course will take place in Ashburton, United Kingdom. Ashburton is a picturesque Georgian market town on the edge of Dartmoor, an area of outstanding natural beauty.   • Travelling south along the M5/A38 from Exeter follow the signs to Plymouth.
