For this holiday, you will be staying in a boutique hotel in Bangkok. Amidst the bustle of this exciting city, step back in time to enjoy this specially chosen intimate boutique hotel set in lush tropical gardens. Originally a charming authentic 1940s Thai heritage house, it is superbly located in the heart of central Bangkok. The hotel is appointed with old recycled teak floors, antique and reproduction furniture, and Thai silk drapes.
You will be met upon your arrival in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.
After your freshly cooked breakfast, relax in the luxurious spa and enjoy a 60-minute head, back, and shoulders massage to ease any jet lag and, at the same time, to prepare you for the afternoon's activities. At approximately 14:00, you will be picked up by a private air-conditioned vehicle for your shopping tour, which will last 3 hours and 30 minutes. Visit the best shopping centers with ample time for finding the best bargains! After a long day of shopping, return to your hotel to relax. The evening is for your leisure to enjoy the vegetarian and seafood delights on hand or step out to experience the vibrant Bangkok nightlife.
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the riverside pier for your 30-minute boat ride to the school. After being greeted on arrival with refreshments, your Thai cooking class will begin, lasting 3 hours and 30 minutes. Your class will consist of the introduction to Thai ingredients in the home-grown herbs and spice garden, cooking demonstration and food tasting, and hands-on cooking of four different dishes. After that, you will enjoy lunch together on the verandah. At the end of the class, you will receive a souvenir, which is a Thai recipe cooking card. After lunch, you will return to your hotel. The afternoon is for your leisure.
After breakfast, the morning is free to relax. Sightseeing options are available on request. You will then be transferred to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) for your onward travel.
