All four chalets feature a sunken spa bath and a fire place for complete relaxation. The interior design focuses on blending polished timber floor with hand painted Argentine glass window features and white shutters. To increase your comfort, a kitchenette and dishwasher facilities are present in each room.

The chalets are air-conditioned and have screened wooden louvers to catch the cool of the summer breeze. Native birds surround the property and local wildlife are frequent visitors.

Misty Moon and Meadow Dew

This soft french green chalet has decor and amenities at a premium level. Surrounded by tall rainforest trees and elevated off the rainforest floor, this private cabin comes complete with private timber balcony, luxurious bathroom, and full cooking facilities with all the modern conveniences of home.

Tuscan Sunset

  • This warm and cozy chalet boasts a warm toasty fireplace (fireplace in all chalets), fully self contained kitchen, luxurious bathroom, and tranquil outlooks.

This chalet features painted windows form Argentina, decor and amenities of a premium level. The deep plum colored bathroom has a floor to ceiling bi-fold timber window that opens to a back balcony for complete privacy. A private cabin with its own flora and fauna that provides you with the perfect escape.


Amytis Cooking School invites you to discover, relish, and learn to create the many culinary wonders of Thai cuisine. Cook with confidence, be relaxed, and understand your ingredients. The 100% hands on classes are kept small (eight maximum) so that everyone gets full attention.

With individual gas burners to create your own Thai meals, you create and eat your very own dishes. This is an opportunity to really dive in and have fun at the same time.

Matthew Conroy
Head Chef Matthew Conroy’s love of cooking started at the age of 17. His drive to discover as many different food influences as possible has seen him working in five star European restaurants, as well as many years within local restaurants. Along the way, Matt has earned himself quite a following. His influences range from Scandinavia to Spain, and more recently to the Asian influence of Thailand.

Check out giraffe, rhinos, cheetah, and zebras on the African Savannah, plus Sumatran Tigers, Bengal Tigers, and red pandas in South-East Asia. Visit the newly opened Bindi’s Island, where guests can get up close with ring-tailed lemurs, giant Aldabran Tortoises, and colourful macaws. Grab a good seat for the midday Wildlife Warriors show, where you can catch all the slithering, swooping, jaw-snapping action of the snakes, birds, and crocodiles live in the Crocoseum.

Experience Australia’s first Swim with Humpback Whales encounters! Join onboard the comfortable catamaran and travel in search of the gentle giants of the deep. Once whales are sighted and it is safe to do so, groups of 10, kitted out with masks, snorkel, and fins, swim along a floating line to observe the whales. This passive approach is 100% on the whales’ terms and sparks their curiosity, which often results in the whales swimming closer to check out who is hanging out in their domain.

Driving directions from Brisbane

  • Travel north on M1 (Bruce Highway).
  • Take exit eight (Nambour / Maroochydore) and follow Maroochydore at roundabout.
  • Head east towards Maroochydore.
  • Exit left at Sandalwood Road to Old Maroochyfore Road, turn left, and travel to Eudlo Flats Road.
  • Take left turn underneath the new Maroochydore Road, then turn right into Eudlo Flats Road, formally Ti-Tree Road.
  • Travel 1.1 kilometers, proceed to second left into Malones Road at a T-junction.
  • Drive 500 meters to the bend in Malone's Road, where an Amytis Gardens Sign is on the right hand side (at 51 Malone Road).
  • Follow easement road to top of mountain, passing three house on the left, a small belt of trees, and the chalets, take road to right to the main gold building at the top and park.

Driving directions from Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY)

  • Follow David Low Way and connect onto Sunshine motorway, travelling south.
  • Take Maroochydore / Buderim exit, then follow the Nambour sign right at the roundabout onto Maroochydore Road and turn left.
  • After approximately four kilometers, turn right onto Eudlo Flats Road, then second left onto Malones Road.
  • Follow easement road to top of mountain, passing three houses on the left, a small belt of trees, and the chalets, take road to right to the main gold building at the top and park.
