Alberti is much more than a tourist hotel. It is an experiential journey where every moment becomes an opportunity to see, smell, taste, touch, and live.
Culinary Vacations (5)
I've been working for many years now in the little hotel of my family, where as a child I started falling in love with cuisine, with hosting and with conviviality. Eventually I have been lucky enough to be able to make of cuisine my full time passion, passing down to our guests the recipes of our land and of our lagoon, so that they will always keep, in their hearts and on their tables, a fragment, as tiny as it is splendid, of my beloved Venice.
I move my first steps in the kitchen in the pension of my family, working with my grandmother from my father's side, and she taught me the recipes of both the Venetian and the Roman tradition. From my mother's side I got the passion for complex recipes and for desserts. Cooking is for me a way to express oneself, I love travelling and experimenting with flavors. I hope to be able to transmit my love for the territory of the Venetian Lagoon in all those who come to learn my recipes.

"Amazing Experience "
Myself and my partner Jason very much enjoyed everything about the course and hotel. Lido was a breath of fresh air from Venice.
We cooked pasta one day, and the next day we prepared fresh sea food.
We learned a lot, and ate too much! Great wine and beer to go with the experience. We would go back for sure.

The straff is very friendly and the historical atmosphere in the house is fantastic.
The instructors are so nice and we learned a lot cooking with fresh and ecologigal produce.

I liked the intimacy and caring of the staff. Very helpful and kind staff.
Staff was excellent always there to help. Breakfast was great in a beautiful setting. The gardens were beautiful. It was a 10-15 min bus ride from Lido main pier not a bad trip. Lido was also a nice place to stay its a 10 min boat ride to Venice.
We had a great visit. Quiet location off the beaten path. Best customer service ever. They answered questions about the local area, picked us up at the pier, fixed our breakfast early on the morning of our departure. No complaints. Would stay there again. Beautiful gardens and location.
a traveler Peru
I am a person that travels for work 250 days a year and I had stayed in a lot of hotels worldwide. Some of them impress me and other are ok and normal. I don't usually write reviews because imagine how much time it will take me to write comments, but this time I had to write a post a review, Ca Alberti is an extraordinary hotel, very strong in family roots service. You are treated like a "KING" in all sense, starting when you enter until you leave. The neighbourhood is so calm and peacefull that you absorb that inner peace that your body was waiting and its the closest you can be with REAL Italian culture, too little foreign tourist, mostly local tourism. Excellent restaurants are found 100 mts from the hotel and you also have a bus stop 100 mts away. If you want to have fun and action you are 10 min away by boat from Venice so it's a perfect combination and place to Stay. Mikaela is the owner and she is attending you personally. If you need to iron your clothes they do it with no extra cost. Breakfast is delicious and home prepared. Highly recommended and definitely I will come back.
