Borgo Conde Wine Resort

Borgo Condé Wine Resort is located in Emilia Romagna, in the heart of the 110 hectares of the Condé estate, wonderful surrounding which will provide to our guests an unforgettable experience within the charm of the magnificent hills of Forlì. The resort is love and passion towards the Emilia Romagna region, hospitality, culture, good food, and good wine. Walking through the vineyards, you can experience the marked and refined taste of the land, where, over the centuries, nature has decided to leave traces of its immense kindness.

Three restaurants are available for you, and they will take you on a journey through the traditional flavors of the region. Two conference rooms make the Borgo Condé the ideal setting for private events and weddings, as well as business meetings and conferences, while the spa, immersed in the vines, gives you moments of rest and relaxation. All this in the name of discreet and timeless luxury, which in this corner of paradise joins the professionalism of the staff to meet the needs of the most demanding customers.

The magic of the vineyards and the elegance of the details are the common thread that binds every aspect of the Condé experience. You can stay in one of the suites within the Borgo village or in the historical villas facing the hills. Each suite is a small artwork, not replicable in its uniqueness; the meticulous work of many local artisans and artists has helped to make the suites unique and cozy, with customized furniture and unique pieces of art. Each one has a beautiful view of the vineyards and the hills, provided by large windows, balconies and private gardens.

  • Family suite - It is ideal for families with kids. It can host up to five people and consist of two bedrooms, a large living room with panoramic view, a sofa, a table and chairs, a 42-inch TV, bathrobe, hairdryer, minibar, safe, and a bathroom. The four elegant suites are located in the Villa Raggio.
  • Junior suite - There are 32 and they are located in the Borgo village and the villas. The suites (from 30 to 40 square meters) are equipped with every comfort, ideal for a romantic weekend or for the relaxation after a hard day's work filled with businesses and meetings. They consist of a spacious bedroom with a double bed or twin beds, a bathroom with bath or shower, bathrobe, hair dryer, safe, minibar, and 42-inch TV.
  • Suite - A double bed bedroom, a large living room with sofa and chairs, a bathroom with shower, bathrobe, hair dryer, safe, minibar, and 42-inch TV compose each of the two suites. Their size varies between 70 and 90 square meters. The suites also have an outdoor swimming pool for exclusive use. They are the pride of the Borgo Condé.
  • Gli Ulivelli Villa - It’s located on the foothills of the valley overlooking the Borgo, and consists of a villa with outbuilding in which they are respectively number 7 and number 2.
  • Il Capanno Villa - It consists of two villas facing each other with a pool overlooking the Rabbi’s valley and the city of Forlì. The main villa consists of three junior suites, of 35 square meters each, and the presidential suite, with kitchen, two living rooms with sofa bed, two bathrooms, and a bedroom for a total of 95 square meters. The second villa has two junior suites and a suite of 40 or 45 square meters to 75 square meters and can accommodate 6 to 8 people.
  • Il Raggio Villa - The villa is located in the hill above the Borgo, from where you can admire the whole estate with its vineyards and consists of four family suites of 50 square meters each.

Oste del Castello

Your two-night accommodation is a historical dwelling in the enchanted old town of Verucchio. The hotel has free Wi-Fi in public areas and in the rooms, comfortable public parking under the hotel, and conference room service. All the rooms are equipped with satellite television, hair dryer, minibar, automatic clime, phone, and in room safe.

Day 1 - Arrival

Airport or hotel pick-up in Bologna in the late morning or early afternoon. Your experience will start with a gorgeous winery on the hills near Forlì, in Romagna, where time seems to have stopped. You will then have free time to rest up from your journey and enjoy the spa facilities of the wine resort, surrounded by the vineyards. You will also have the chance to pay a visit to the cellar and see first-hand how this wine is produced and aged, while enjoying a glass of estate wine. Then, during the four-course-dinner, you will enjoy a complete wine pairing with each course. Lodging in Conde Resort.

Day 2 - Excursion, wine tasting

You will have breakfast at the resort, with a quick discussion about the week’s program. After breakfast, you will have some free time for hiking or walking around the wineries and sweet hills of Condè. You will receive some trail maps and Adagio Travel will accompany those who want to venture into the hills. Lunch on your own at the resort and, in the afternoon, transfer to a magical farm, Fattoria Paradiso of Bertinoro. Here, you can breathe the atmosphere of the films by Federico Fellini, the famous director who was born in Rimini and left his imprint on this region. You’ll stop in the Wine Museum for a tasting and then wander through Bertinoro, a small middle-age village with a panoramic terrace on the hills around where you can enjoy a cappuccino sitting in the square. You will have dinner at Ca de Be, in the center of the village. Lodging in Conde Resort.

Day 3 - Excursion, cooking class

Transfer to the hills near Santarcangelo di Romagna, where a winery and country house is waiting for you to dive in with the Azdrora Romagnola, the queen of the kitchen in Romagna. You will prepare a typical menu of the Romagna region, including piadina, a typical bread of Romagna, and homemade tagliatelle, tagliolini, and pappardelle using a rolling pin as grandmas did in the past. You will have lunch tasting the delicious recipes prepared together, matched to the fantastic wines of the farmstead. In the afternoon, transfer to the picturesque village of Santarcangelo di Romagna. Visit the mysterious underground tuff caves, the button museum, with its unique collection of buttons from all over the world, and the ancient Stamperia Marchi, which has been printing fabrics with artisan techniques for four centuries. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at your historical dwelling in the enchanted old town of Verucchio, with free time to enjoy the spa facilities. You will have an early evening aperitivo tasting the specialties of the region in the underground caves of Verucchio. Lodging in Oste del Castello.

Day 4 - Excursion, cycling tour

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to the seaside of Riccione, where your e-bike guide waits for you to start your ride with a little help from the electric bike. You will go from Riccione through cycle-paths along the sea to Portoverde and Misano, then to Morciano, and back to Riccione, biking amidst lush greenery. Your cycling tour will cover 35 kilometers, at an altitude of 60 meters. Afterwards, return to Riccione, where you will have free time for lunch in one of the many fish restaurants on the seaside. Transfer back to Verucchio, where you will get free time to enjoy the spa facilities and dinner at Mastin Vecchio of Verucchio, a medieval restaurant in the underground caves just under the resort, with wine pairing. Day 5 - Excursion

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll set off for the wonderfully undiscovered Le Marche region. The first stop is Urbino, the jewel of this part of the region and one of the most important Renaissance cities in Italy. Drive through the sweet hills between the Foglia River and the Metauro River to reach Federico da Montefeltro’s ideal city. Brief visit of the historical center, followed by light lunch and a tasting session downtown at Monia’s. She opens “the cave” to you for a discovery of quality products of the Montefeltro, including those made with truffles. Journey through the Metauro Valley to reach the charming Villa Giulia Relais, situated a stone’s throw from the seaside town of Fano. On a hill, immersed in greenery, Villa Giulia features a swimming pool and homey atmosphere. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner. Lodging in Relais Villa Giulia.

Day 6 - Sculpture course

Following breakfast at the resort, you will transfer to Santi Ippolito, the village of stonemasons who “make beautiful things with sweet stone”, to meet the sculptor Natalia Gasparucci. The day is dedicated to a mini-course in sculpture. You will each have a piece of sandstone and the necessary equipment to create your own mini-masterpiece, with Natalia following you step by step. At the end of the mini course, you will walk away with your creation! Rustic lunch at Natalia’s home, and time to wander through the village, will fill out the day. You will later head back to the resort to enjoy a pizza dinner. Lodging in Relais Villa Giulia.

Day 7 - Excursion, cooking class

Following breakfast in the early morning, you will go on a journey to the seaside to meet with a chef specialized in the Marche’s most famous soup, brodetto. The chef will guide you through the lively market to choose the specific types of seafood used to make this savory local specialty. Enjoy a quick coffee break at a historic pastry shop in downtown Fano, followed by a short guided walk of this Roman town with a Renaissance heart. A short transfer up the hill brings us to a villa with a wonderful panorama of the city and the sea, which will serve as the venue for creating and enjoying brodetto. Transfer back to the resort after lunch, with time to pack and relax. Around 18:00, you will travel a few minutes to Pesaro, the birthplace of the composer Gioacchino Rossini, for an exclusive stroll through town. Rossini and Tosca will accompany you, ending with a toast to your wonderful week together followed by an arrivederci dinner in a historic auberge. Back to the Relais for a final relaxing night of sleep.

Day 8 - Departure

Following breakfast, you will depart for the Bologna Airport, located 165 kilometers away from the resort.

In the heart of the Borgo Conde Wine Resort, the spa is a response to the desire to combine holidays with wellness, fitness, food, and wine by offering integrated solutions that meet all wellness requirements in a setting of rare natural beauty. The facility, exclusive and modern, exceeds the classical concept of the spa and includes a heated indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna, gym, massage room, and relaxation area. Conde's structure is one of the few practicing wine therapy in Emilia Romagna. They are very strong about the welfare of their guests and the fruits of their vineyards. Hence the idea of wine therapy, to combine the well-being with the fruits of the vine. You can also enjoy a number of other treatments, available upon reservation, and incurring a fee. During your two-night stay, you will have unlimited access to the spa.

Oste del Castello

The spa in Emilia Romagna is extract on the old cave under the wellness hotel Oste del Castello, and will open you the doors of a small paradise in the heart of Verucchio, giving you Finish sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, cervical waterfall, emotional showers, aroma and cromo therapy, heated loungers, and sound therapy. They offer three types of massage available at an additional fee.
