Enjoy unconventional adventurous tours while learning to master local dishes from a renowned chef in the heart of Provence, biking amidst the spectacular red poppy fields of Chianti and tasting fine Tuscan wines from the Brunello region. Indulge in wine tastings, visits to the most beautiful villages of the Luberon and enjoy gourmet food and the breathtaking beauty of this region.

Day 1, Saturday

Meet with your hosts in Cavaillon. Guests are welcomed and shown their rooms. Guests can arrive at any time of the day and depending on your arrival time, lunch is offered followed by the itinerary and program discussion.

There is free time in the afternoon to rest, go for a walk in the forest, discover the small chapel of St. Jacques or take a swim in the swimming pool. Apertif and dinner are served at 20:00.

Day 2, Sunday

Have breakfast and depart at 10:00 for the farmer's market of Coustellet where the local produce is purchased (vegetables and fruits) for your cooking. Antique dealers are also here, revealing some hidden secrets of yesteryear. Visit the Lavender Museum where you can buy perfumes, soap and essence of Lavender. Settle for drinks like Pastis or wine in a local caf later on. There is free time during the afternoon.

Some suggestions: visit the antique Market of Lisle Sur la Sorguw in the "Venice of Provence" which has one of the largest concentrations of antique dealers in France.

At 17:00 try a hands-on cooking class where you prepare your own Provenal dinner.

At 20:00 wind up over aperitif and dinner.

Day 3, Monday

After breakfast, leave for the village of Menerbes at 10:00 an ancient fortified town which was once a Protestant centre in the Vaucluse. It was this village where the author Peter Mayle chose to settle and write his best selling book "A Year in Provence". Here too can be found the Corkscrew Museum, which displays history, sociology, technology and the arts from the 17th century to today. The corkscrew museum has more than 1000 pieces on exhibition, starting with the first corkscrew forged by hand in steel, to the decorative objet d'art in solid gold. Let yourself be guided through the centuries and across country in the discovery of this unique collection.

Visit the winery Domaine de la Citadelle for wine tasting of red, white and ros wines. These fresh and smooth flavors reveal a typical Luberon soil character. Pay a visit to Domaine de Marie winery with wine tasting followed by a visit of the ancient village Oppedes le Vieux.

At 13:00 you get some free time for lunch and the afternoon. Some suggestions: visit of Fontaine de Vaucluse or go shopping.

At 17:00 is a hands-on cooking class.

At 20:00 is aperitif and dinner.

Day 4, Tuesday

After breakfast, leave at 10:00 to visit the village of the Bories.These dry stone shelters, built by the local peasants and shepherds, constitute a real ethnological museum in the open air on the plateau of Gordes. They dated from 3500BC and were regularly rebuilt using ancient methods.

You will visit the village of Gordes, the local village market and its castle which was rebuilt in the mid 16th century. The building was bought and restored by the Op Art painter Victor Vasarely. Dominating the valley of the Coulon, this village was built on a spur of mountain range.

At 12:30 depart to Roussillon visiting the Ocra.

At 13:30 you have free time for lunch in Roussillon and shopping.

At 17:00 is a hands-on cooking class with aperitif and dinner at 20:00.

Day 5, Wednesday

After breakfast, depart to to St. Remy at 09:00 and enjoy an olive oil tasting at La Maison de Lhuile dOlive. Visit a chocolate shop and St. Remy de Provence.

At 11:00 is a visit to Les Baux de Provence. This is a classified beautiful spot and historical monument with views across to the Camargue. Here there is a lot to discover of the old village such as the old castle, dungeons, towers and others. The Lords of Baux built their fine citadelle here in the 10th century. Another place full of magic is the Cathedral of Images located in the antique quarry of Les Baux-de-Provence.

At 13:00 is free time for lunch and shopping.

At 17:00 is a hands on cooking class followed by apertif and dinner at 20:00.

Day 6, Thursday:

Breakfast and preparations for your departure during the morning, with the hope that we will see you again soon!
