"On last February 2016, I went to the NECTFL Conference in New York. While attending all the teacher's workshops for foreign language teachers, I had the opportunity to apply for a scholarship program in Salerno. Luckily from the bucket they choose my name and I won two weeks scholarship at Accademia Italiana that I just finished. The program, the teachers were exceptional, the apartment was new, clean and modern in the amazing historical center of Salerno. Alessia Zollo prepared me for the ITALS exam that I will attend in February for the Italian Teaching Certificate. I also, bring 2 of my students that attended the intensive Italian Course. Awesome experience for both of us. I will recommend to teachers and students to attend Accademia Italiana of Salerno, unbelievable learning experience. I will give 6 stars in education!"

"I have attended the Accademia Italiana school both in the early Fall 2015 and now the early Spring 2016. The school is geared to teach Italian at all levels. Being a beginner at the language, I found the school's approach to teaching Italian both relaxed but effective. The staff encourages students to immerse themselves in the town activities in the afternoon, encouraging the use of the language. The school also offers and organizes activities outside school such as trips to nearby sites as well as cooking, art / craft and other opportunities. The instructors and staff are well qualified and eager to embrace their students. Complements to Rachele and Allesia for all their kindness and for Titziana always coordinating things. Because the school draws students from around the world, the experience is broad and multicultural. It is such a great way to make your vacations "molto italiana e divertimento!"

"On my first day at Accademia Italiana the school had arranged some activities for all new arrivals, including a city tour of Salerno. Before starting the tour we got a brief introduction to the history of Salerno from Alessia, one of the teachers. Afterwards Alessia took us for a walk around mainly the old city center of Salerno where we got to see the narrow streets, the old norman catherdral and San Pietro a Corte just to name a few things. This is something I would recommend to someone who is completely new to Salerno and its surroundings. You will get a first glimpse of what the city has to offer and then you can wonder around on your own and discover both Salerno, the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento Coast. If you are interested in learning Italian I can warmly recommend Salerno and Accademia Italiana. Here you will get a genuine view of how the Italians live their everyday life, get to taste proper Italian food and wine and also have a chance to really use the knowledge which will be given to you at Accademia Italiana."

"I spent 3 weeks in Salerno studying at Accademia Italiana. I chose this school because I love the Amalfi coast, and thought it would be a great base for spending time there. I was not disappointed! I loved everything about my experience in Salerno. The location of the school is ideal, I was very happy with the course, my teacher was fantastic and my Italian improved greatly, the other teachers and administration staff were also excellent.I thoroughly enjoyed the excursions we went on, the optional seminars that the school put on for the students a few times a week, and going out with other students to local restaurants and bars, doing our best to communicate with each other and the locals in Italian. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this school to others."

"I loved the location. The beach was amazing. The class was also fun but serious enough that we would learn. At first I hated the bungalow because I thought it was small, but I thought it was nice and cozy by the second day."
