Domenica is a cookbook author, food writer, cooking instructor, and proud daughter of Abruzzo. Her mother was born and raised in the city of Chieti. Domenica spent much of her life traveling between the US and Chieti, which continues to inspire her in the kitchen. Domenica has written seven acclaimed books on traditional and contemporary Italian home cooking. Her latest book, Preserving Italy: Canning, Curing, Infusing, and Bottling Italian Flavors and Traditions, was published in June 2016 by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and has received great reviews by The New York Times and others.
